Her nursing career began in 2004 at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, one of the largest and most respected hospitals in Arizona, as an emergency and trauma room registered nurse (RN). There, she gained valuable skills and knowledge in providing high-quality care to patients with life-threatening conditions and injuries. tinued with her education and obtained a Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) in 2007 and a Master of Science in nursing (MSN) as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) in 2012, both from Grand Canyon University. As a board certified FNP, she is trained to treat the whole family, from adolescents to the elderly, and provides primary and specialty care services. Shelly places a high emphasis with guidance to provide education on wellness and preventive care. Shelly has opened Grand West Family Practice and Wellness, a primary care facility that serves the diverse populations of Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Sun City, Sun City West, Sun City Grand, El Mirage, Goodyear, Buckeye, and Avondale in Arizona. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds. Shelly provides compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based care and is committed to lifelong learning and professional development. She regularly attends conferences and workshops to keep up with the latest trends and best practices in healthcare.
