Autism in a small town

Autism in a small town support and group involvement for children and parents of autism and other special needs children. Our son was diagnosed with autism and ADHD at 3 years old.

We called at least 100 clinics and went through even more webpages trying to find help in Southern West Virginia for our son; but we were met with year long waits, being told our insurance wasn't excepted, our area wasn't covered by services, exceptionally long travels, ect. Every thing we have found Virginia Tech, Speech therapy, Occupational therapy, ABA: pretty much EVERYTHING we have found wit

h little help from providers or community programs. We are here with the hope of share our journey and the information we have acquired on our way and to find community support and interactions for our son to build on. If we can help one other child with special needs or one family find the help they need, then this will all be worth it!
