Today, Tollie celebrates an incredible 50 years with CVMC! Since joining our team in 1976, he has demonstrated a level of loyalty, dedication, and commitment that is truly unmatched.

Throughout his five decades of service, Tollie spent approximately 30 years as a valued member of our Food Service Department before continuing his career in our Purchasing Department. His remarkable milestone represents more than years of service, it reflects a lifetime of hard work and dedication to CVMC and our community.

AN IMPACTFUL INVESTMENT IN CVMC 💙

Coosa Valley Medical Center has received $2.8 million through the Alabama Rural Health Transformation Program to advance several initiatives designed to strengthen care across our region.

This funding will support:
✅ Electronic health record improvements and enhanced IT and cybersecurity systems
✅ Infrastructure upgrades to expand our Senior Behavioral Unit
✅ Additional psychiatry staffing
✅ Technology to improve the coordination of non-emergency patient transportation
✅ Other projects focused on expanding access and improving the patient experience

These investments will help CVMC build greater capacity, improve connections across services and continue meeting patients at their point of need.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Governor Kay Ivey and the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs for recognizing the importance of strong, sustainable healthcare in Alabama’s rural communities.
