Meet Belle 🖤

As hard as we tried to scare her away, against her better judgement, Belle has voluntarily become our apprentice at Artifact Ink.

She’s subjected herself to endless drawing, redrawing again, information overload, more drawing, and hearing us say, “One thing I’d add…” approximately 4,000 times.

And she keeps coming back!

Belle has been working incredibly hard, and we’re so excited to welcome her as Artifact Ink’s apprentice. You’ll be seeing more of her artwork, practice, and progress as she grows into an amazing artist.

Turns out we can’t actually keep artists in the basement forever… so it’s time to let Andrea free. 🥲

After being a part of Artifact Ink, Andrea is heading off to start her own adventure in a new space on South Tacoma Way, and while we’re absolutely going to miss having her around the studio, we’re SO stoked to watch her build something that’s all hers. If you’ve been lucky enough to be tattooed by Andrea, or want to be in the future, be sure to follow along and show her some love as she settles into her new space. Andrea Ohira

Our Dungeons, Dragons & Tattoos event is getting closer, and here’s a first look at a few of the flash designs we’ll have available. Whether you’re a lifelong adventurer or you’ve never rolled a d20, everyone’s welcome.

We’ll have walk-in tattoos, a beginner-friendly D&D campaign running in the lobby, snacks, drinks, and plenty of merch and mischief. You don’t have to get tattooed to come hang out and play!

Gather your party and make haste to Artifact Ink on Saturday, July 25th for a day of Dungeons, Dragons & Tattoos!

Whether you’re a seasoned dungeon crawler or you’ve never rolled a d20 before, all are welcome. Our DM will be running a beginner friendly, joinable campaign throughout the day. So if you’ve always been curious about D&D, this is the perfect chance to learn. No experience necessary!

🏃‍♀️ Walk-in tattoos only (first come, first served)
🐉 D&D inspired flash tattoos
🎲 Joinable D&D campaign all day
🍻 Snacks & refreshments
🎁 Surprises, and mischievous encounters…

Not looking to get tattooed? Come anyway! Grab a seat at the table, roll some dice, and spend the day with us. This event is for the D&D community just as much as it is for tattoo lovers.

Welcome as our featured local artist from June 5th through July 31st! 🎨✨

We’re so excited to have Tara’s work on display at the studio this summer. As an extra treat, Tara has partnered with us to offer 10% off all of her artwork throughout June for our clients!

If you have an appointment this month, be sure to take a look at her prints before you head out. Fair warning though, it’s going to be tough to choose just one. We’ve already fallen in love with all of them.

And keep an eye out for some Tara inspired flash coming soon! Her interpretations of PNW flora and fauna have sparked plenty of creative inspiration around the studio, and we can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on.
