Tomorrow, our sweet boy graduates preschool❣️🎓
And as I sit here trying to put this into words, I can’t help but think back to the beginning… to the moments when we were told the odds were stacked against him. The moments filled with fear, uncertainty, heartbreak, and prayers whispered through tears. Braysen was given what felt like a zero percent chance at life… yet here he is. Thriving. Smiling. Learning. Growing. Graduating preschool.
Only God.
There will never be enough words to express how thankful we are that God chose us to be Braysen’s parents. Through every hospital stay, surgery, setback, milestone, and miracle, this little boy has shown us what true strength looks like. He has rewritten every expectation placed on him and continues to prove that God’s plans are always bigger than our fears.
We are endlessly thankful for every single person who has helped carry Braysen to this moment. His therapists, doctors, nurses, teachers, staff at the The RISE Center, his classmates, and every person who chose to meet Braysen where he was instead of seeing his medical history as “too much.” You saw HIM before the diagnosis. You pushed him outside of his comfort zone, believed in him on the hard days, celebrated every tiny victory, and loved him so well.
And look at him now.🥹
Braysen, we are more proud of you than words could ever describe. Watching you grow into the strong, brave, funny, determined little boy you are has been the greatest honor of our lives. You have taught us more about faith, resilience, and unconditional love than we could ever teach you.
No matter how big you grow or how far you go, you will always be our miracle.
We love you more than you will ever know. 💙
