Who challenges themselves to be 1% better every day or every week⁉️
I have to say finding time writing my wins for the week down on Friday’s has been a challenge with a lot going on in my life right now. As some of you might know, who’s known me for a while,
I take the last 30 minutes of my work week on Friday, and write my wins down…no matter how small or how big, like Young Joc says, “It’s goin’ down!”
You can say I have a pretty action packed schedule during the week……Working my main job 7:00-5:30 Tuesday thru Friday, waking up at 4:10 am Monday thru Friday and being at the gym between 5:00-5:15 am (Saturday’s waking up between 5:30-6:00 am and being at the gym by 6:30 - 7:00 am), training a client Monday, Wednesday and Friday in person and also online during the week, working on my side businesses on Monday’s and the weekends and in the pockets of my day (during lunch, on 15 minute breaks and after work as well), handling my own stock market portfolio and crypto investments, educating myself daily on health and wellness, doing self-development at least 30 min every day, sleeping at least 6-7 hours per night, spending time on the weekends with my family, and much more (I missed a few things)…there is absolutely no room for excuses about anything! This doesn’t include communications on the phone or e-mails and checking in with my and others that have me hold them accountable personally.
For me, getting 1% better is mainly 1% about me, and 99% about other’s and focusing on that! That’s where the “good” challenge is, because I always move with a pure heart and with pure intentions and challenge myself in attempting to finish everything I have the capacity for in one day…and if I didn’t get to something, or I forgot to message this person, or if I forgot to call this person…I will get to it, and it goes on my “Today” list for the next day!
Biggest mindset shift in getting 1% better, and taking a quote from Warren Buffet and putting a little bit of Joey’s twist on it:
“If you work on getting 1% better every week for your own self, you owe the 99% rest of humanity to help them get 1% better every week also!”
