7/31 After 6 weeks of no answers of why his health was declining. They were finally able to figure out its Intrathecal Methotrexate induced Myelopathy (IT-MM). He’s gonna need a lot of intense physical therapy to try to regain mobility. They’re going to postpone all chemotherapy and radiation for 2 month or if any labs come back abnormal. At this point, the leukemia is in remission. It’s all gonna be up to him to try to regain all mobility. We are thankful for all the nurses and doctors at Tampa General, also for all the love and support from family and friends.

7/13 He is still in the hospital. They are thinking that he has an Auto Immune Disease along with Leukemia (T-ALL). We should have the results next week. They’re giving him antibodies and plasma. Postponing the radiation to see if this helps him first. He’s been very sleepy this week. The neuropathy is now in his arms, worse on his finger tips he can barely grab his utensil when he eats.

6/26 Haven’t post because a lot has happened. The leukemia is now in his Central Nervous System (CNS) 2 weeks ago it was affecting his eyes. Now it’s in his spine which is affecting his feet. This cancer is very aggressive and fast moving. 2 weeks ago they changed his chemo. Now, since it’s progressing they are changing his chemo again. He’s been having weekly spinal taps but with his new course of treatment it requires chemo twice a week. They’re going to add a head access port (Ommaya Reservoir) for easier access and no more spinal taps. Depending on his symptoms and results, it’s a possibility they might have to add radiation.

4/8 Unfortunately, last week he wasn't able to continue chemo due to some abnormal lab results, so things were postponed. He was able to get back in track this week. He was not admitted as planned but better news. He'll be able to come home and we can administer his chemotherapy at home. This week he will have chemotherapy for 4 days straight. Chemo pills for 2 weeks.
