Scar camouflage isn’t a one-size-fits-all treatment. ✨
Understanding that is key to getting safe, natural results.
A scar must be fully healed and stable before it can be treated. This often means waiting at least one year until the skin is no longer actively healing.
Treating too soon can affect how the pigment heals and how the skin responds.
It’s also important to know that not all scars are suitable for camouflage. Conditions like keloid scarring, or certain pigmentation disorders such as vitiligo, may not be candidates for treatment. This is to protect the integrity of your skin and avoid triggering further changes.
In some cases, the focus may need to be on improving the texture of the scar before adding any pigment.

Creating a stable foundation allows for more natural, blended results.

My own healing journey 🤍

About 5 years ago, I left everything I knew: my city, my family, and 20 years of clients, and moved across the country to start over.
It pushed me completely out of my comfort zone. I came here knowing nobody and had to figure out who I was all over again.
At one point, I thought I was done with the beauty industry. I even worked a corporate job, but the one thing I couldn’t shake was how much I missed my clients.
That’s what led me to SMP. Being a hairstylist for so long, it felt familiar. But I still had a lot to learn, especially stepping into tattooing.
So I kept learning. I immersed myself in an industry I knew nothing about.
Then about a year and a half ago, I found paramedical tattooing, and that’s when everything changed.
Helping people heal from their own experiences through ar**la restoration, scar camouflage, and SMP has given me a sense of purpose I didn’t even know I was looking for.
This industry has helped me grow into the woman I am today, and along the way, I’ve met some truly genuine people who have shown me support, inspiration, and a real sense of belonging.
