I'm going to say it and you might not like it.
You shouldn't use the rowing machine for anything that ISN'T rowing.

No putting your knees or feet on the seat to get a core workout. Don't even jump over the monorail! (I see you burpees over the rower 👀)
It's driving me crazy seeing influencers and even coaches suggesting to do these things. There are MUCH safer ways to do the same movement without using the rowing machine.
They shouldn't be encouraging these movements that can easily get you hurt.
Just because it's there doesn't mean you should use a piece of equipment for something OTHER THAN it's intended purpose.
Use the rowing machine to row. Only your butt goes on the seat. Nothing else.
Maybe we need more warning labels on our rowing machines.
