Sometimes you meet people and there’s an instant connection! I so enjoyed seeing this family and the way they parent their son. May all families have the support they deserve in creating the life they dream of ✨

For a few days I just wasn’t feeling like working. It all felt heavy, too many to do’s without enough jazz or at least excitement behind the why. This feeling (of not desiring to be productive or feeling overwhelmed) often causes unease within me. I get worried that the desire to create won’t ever come back, following by fear of whatever worldly consequences that will have.
This time instead of pushing through my resistance I simply allowed myself space and time to do nothing. And sit in the uncomfortable feeling of “not being productive”.

I know this opportunity is a privilege, and one I don’t take lightly. It’s not always possible to sit into our resistance sometimes the only option seems to be doing the work whether we want to or not.

Time with kristien, a dear friend, always feels like a ceremony ~ time to luxuriate into our true essence together. From this place of sitting back and just being - ideas flooded to my being, excitement to create soared in as I relished in what I wanted to offer next! I am appreciated and cherishing this process of surrendering into “unproductive” only to realize that was the fuel my creative being needed.

Our bodies do incredible things for us everyday. In birth and carrying life this can come with lots of body changes. Leaning into accepting these changes, and celebrating them moves us towards more freedom. Daily I work towards celebrating and accepting my and others body more full 💗

Hi there. I’m Rae and committed to showing up for pregnancy, birth & postpartum support. I’m trained as a holistic doula and absolutely adore showing up for the transformative process that is inherent in becoming a parent.
