Try this tasty Antioxidant Cherry Fruit Salad—only 4 simple ingredients. It’s loaded with antioxidants, which is where the name comes from! 😊 Curious what antioxidants are? Here’s a quick explanation.

Antioxidant isn’t a single substance but a chemical property that helps protect your body. They counteract oxidative stress from free radicals—those pesky molecules that can harm cells—so antioxidants come to the rescue.

Some familiar antioxidants are beta-carotene, vitamin C, vitamin D, selenium, and manganese. You’ll find them in fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and of course, in our Juice Plus+ Essentials!

Enjoy your salad, friends! 🍒🥗

💪 June is Men’s Health Month 🧢

Strong, steady, and taking care of what matters—a time to raise awareness around the importance of preventative care, daily habits, and overall wellness for the men in our lives (and maybe a little nudge for them to actually use that info 😉). From heart health to muscle recovery to mental well-being, small, consistent habits can make a big impact.

🧠 Why Men’s Health Matters

Let’s be honest—many men tend to put health on the back burner. This month is a great reminder to focus on:

• ❤️ Heart health and blood pressure

• 💪 Strength, mobility, and longevity

• 🧠 Mental health and stress management

• 🔍 Preventive check-ups and screenings

Because feeling good isn’t just about today—it’s about staying strong for the long run.

🛠️ Simple Habits That Make a Big Difference

No extremes needed—just consistency:

• 🚶‍♂️ Move daily (walk, lift, play, repeat)

• 🏋️‍♂️ Add 2–3 days of strength training

• 😴 Prioritize quality sleep

• 💧 Stay hydrated

• 🍔 Balance indulgences with better choices

🥗 Fueling Strength & Recovery

What you eat plays a huge role in energy, performance, and recovery:

• 🍗 Protein to support muscle repair

• 🥬 Plants for vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants

• 🥑 Healthy fats for heart and hormone health

• 🍒 Foods like tart cherry + beet root to support recovery and circulation

And for busy days, simple nutrition wins.

🌊 A Smarter Omega for Men

When it comes to heart, brain, and joint health, omega-3s are key—and quality matters.

Juice Plus+ Omega Blend stands out because it’s:

• 🌱 Plant-based (sourced from algae, not fish oil)

• 💚 Supportive of heart and brain health

• 🔥 Helpful for managing inflammation and recovery

• 🏆 Recognized by Men’s Health for quality and nutrition

It’s a clean, sustainable way to support overall wellness—without relying on traditional fish oil.

🥤 Easy Performance Support

Pairing smart supplements with balanced nutrition can make life easier:

• 💪 Juice Plus+ Complete Protein Shakes with 14g of protein

• ⏱️ Quick, convenient option for busy schedules or post-workout fuel

Because sometimes simple + consistent beats complicated every time.

🔥 This Month’s Reminder

Strong isn’t just about muscles—it’s about habits. Maybe send this to a guy in your life who “doesn’t need anything” but definitely needs this 😉💙

The "beast with knee tap" (often called a Bear Plank to Knee Tap or Beast Hold with Knee Taps) is a highly effective bodyweight exercise. It primarily targets your deep core, shoulders, quads, and improves anti-rotational stability.
How to Perform the Exercise
Start on all fours: Begin in a tabletop position with your hands directly under your shoulders and your knees directly under your hips.
Lift into Beast Pose: Tuck your toes and hover your knees about 1 to 2 inches off the floor. Keep your back flat (do not arch or round) and your core fully engaged.
Execute the knee tap: Slowly lower one knee to lightly tap the floor, then return it to the hovering position.
Alternate: Repeat on the opposite side, maintaining a steady, controlled pace while keeping your hips as stable as possible.

Daily walks have improved my health in several ways!
🧠It has to improved my mental health, being out in nature, appreciating more and more of all the little things…flowers, trees, bugs, animals, the mountains, running water, the sky…
♥️It has improved my emotional health, allowing me time to pray and process the things happening in my life.
👟It has improved my physical health- I’ve lost 40 lbs of excess weight and my heart and lungs are healthier and stronger, and so are my legs.
I started with a mile and now I walk for time and distance. I walk a minimum of 30 minutes daily and an hour 3X per week.

Side note: my entire life I’ve enjoyed working out, but my grandma would tell me, “You’re out there jumping around like an idiot and all you need to do is walk.” Turns out… it helps a lot!!! ♥️🙏🏼👟

Hey fitness friends! Ready for your next tip in our Nutrition and Fitness series? Here it is: Know when to switch up your workout.

If your weight’s stuck or your muscles aren’t feeling tired like before, it might be time to step up the intensity. For example, if you’re running, try increasing your miles by about 5-10% each week for races half-marathon length or longer.

Also, if you’ve been doing the same workout over and over, mix it up! Try different stuff like HIIT, cardio, or Pilates. You can even set aside specific days for different exercises to keep things fresh throughout the week.

Hope this helps!

To eat the banana or not to eat the banana…? 🍌🤔💭

Whether you should eat the banana ultimately depends on your nutritional goals, the banana's ripeness, and your current health. Bananas provide great energy and fiber, but may not be ideal if you are managing blood sugar, taking specific medications, or eating right before bed.

😋When to Eat the Banana
For a gut health boost: Choose a green or underripe banana. They are packed with resistant starch and act as prebiotics.
For energy or a sweet craving: Choose a fully ripe, yellow banana with a few brown spots. The starches have broken down into simple sugars, making it easier to digest and quicker to provide energy.
For an energy boost: Eat it 15 to 30 minutes before a workout.

🚫When NOT to Eat the Banana
Right before sleep: Eating a banana just before bed can cause fermentation, gas, and bloating as digestion slows down overnight.
If you have uncontrolled diabetes: Ripe bananas spike blood sugar faster, so portion control is required.
If you are on certain medications: Avoid bananas if taking ACE inhibitors (like captopril or enalapril). Bananas are high in potassium, which can interact with these drugs to cause high potassium levels in the blood.
If it shows signs of decay: Avoid the banana if it is solid dark brown/black all the way through, has a fermented/sour smell, or shows blue-green mold.
