On Wednesday, Specialized Hearing Solutions was proud to once again sponsor the Christian County Senior Citizens' Appreciation Luncheon alongside Stonington Fertilizer, Christian County Seeds, and Bayer.

It’s wonderful seeing hundreds of seniors from across Christian County gathered together to enjoy great food, fellowship, and a little friendly game of Bingo.

A sincere thank you to Angelo's Catering for another wonderful meal, the Christian County Fair Board for allowing us to be a part of fair week, our incredible volunteers, local first responders, the THS Cheerleaders and THS FFA students and Larry Barry for volunteering their time throughout the day. We are proud to support these outstanding student organizations each year in appreciation of everything they do for our community.

Thank you as well to Farm & Home for donating the water, the Fleming family for providing the tea, Battery Specialist + Golf Cars for transporting our guests, The Eagles for sponsoring another fun afternoon of Bingo, Mayor Bruce Barry for always bringing a little extra fun while calling the Bingo numbers and most importantly, thank you to our seniors. Your hard work, kindness, and dedication have helped shape the community we are fortunate to call home. It is an honor to celebrate you each year.

Community isn’t a buzzword for SHS— it’s a commitment.
I’m proud to be the only locally owned hearing care provider in Taylorville— and just as proud to be consistently showing up for the community my business serves.
Since the day I opened my doors — and long before — I’ve been actively involved in this community, not just as a business owner, but as a volunteer, sponsor, and advocate.

When you support Specialized Hearing Solutions, you’re supporting a business that:
• Sponsors and volunteers time and resources at school events throughout the county
• Supports local businesses both within and beyond the Chamber
• Helps host and support Senior Appreciation Day dinner & bingo at the fair for 500+ seniors
• Sponsors and participates in Christmas Senior Bingo with the Taylorville Park District and other senior-focused or family events
• Has been Chamber-involved since opening and currently serves as Board President
• Serves on the YMCA Board, supporting youth, families, and community wellness
