Beatz: A Rhythmic Expression

Website

Beatz: A Rhythmic Expression Beatz is not a drumline. Not therapy. Not entertainment. I can! My sound matters! Learn more about this free program.

It is a rhythmic learning environment where every individual, especially those who learn differently, discovers: I belong!

We see you and we’re so grateful you’re part of Beatz.
Every week, you show up and shine. Good days and tough ones come and go, but your strength, resilience, and spirit never fade. You don’t give up, and that matters.

You matter. Every beat, every moment, every effort.

Jim and I met a couple the other day who shared that their 22‑year‑old son with special needs wouldn’t be able to participate in Beatz because “he couldn’t do it.” That conversation stayed with us.

Later that day, we realized we need to say this louder and clearer:
At Beatz…they can do it.

A rhythmic expression is exactly that - their rhythm, their pace, their way. Every individual, regardless of ability, can participate, connect, and shine.

And we want to make sure Beatz stays open and free for every family who needs it.

Fall weather is right around the corner, and your support can make a real difference. When you purchase a long‑sleeve tee or hoodie, you’re helping us keep Beatz free in the community. We’ve added a new option featuring the classic Beatz logo on the front pocket and an adapted Beatz logo on the back with Wonderfully Made - a message that reflects exactly who our members are. https://www.etsy.com/shop/BooksAndBeatsUSA

Your purchase doesn’t just get you ready for cooler days…it helps us continue offering Beatz to individuals who deserve a place where they can belong, express, and thrive.

Tambourine Tuesday at Beatz was a total hit! Our members brought the energy, the rhythm, and the biggest smiles as we explored new ways to express ourselves through sound. Tambourines may be small, but the confidence they build is huge. Every shake, tap, and jingle helps strengthen focus, coordination, and social connection, and our Beatz crew absolutely crushed it.

Today's the day!

One more day until we shine. Tomorrow, our incredible members will showcase just over 6 months of hard work, joy, discipline, and pure Beatz spirit as they take the field as the opening performance for the Exhibition of Bands at 2pm at Nation Ford High School.

This is a milestone - the very first Project Ovation performance - and our stars are ready to stand out, light up the field, and share everything they’ve been practicing with heart.

Come celebrate them, cheer them on, and feel the magic they bring to every beat. And while you’re there, be sure to stop by our booth. We’ll be right by the entrance with smiles, shirts, swag, and bold Beatz energy.

We can’t wait to see you. Let’s make tomorrow unforgettable.

Beatz is buzzing with excitement as we gear up for our debut performance on 9/19. Every session brings more smiles, more confidence, and more of those moments that remind us how special this journey is. The vibes are incredible and our members are showing up, putting in the work, and genuinely enjoying every beat along the way. Big things are building, and we couldn’t be prouder of this crew.

We're so happy to be a part of this. Thanks for the mention.
