🕯️ Not every yoga class ends by staring at a candle… this one does 🔥
If you’ve never experienced Trataka, you’re in for something unique.
We’ll spend the majority of class building slow, steady strength through a Hatha-inspired flow, then settle into one of yoga’s oldest meditation practices: candle gazing. Trataka in Sanskrit simply means “to gaze steadily.” By focusing on the flame, we give the mind a place to rest—often leaving us feeling calmer, clearer, and surprisingly refreshed.
It’s both movement and meditation. Effort and ease. Fire and stillness.
If you’re curious about meditation but find it difficult to “turn your brain off,” this is a beautiful place to begin.
Join me on the second Sunday of every month at 9:00 AM for Slow Burn Sunday at Temecula Yoga Collective. I’d love to practice with you.
