We can no longer think as separate from one another. Just as our liver and spleen, heart and brain are connected to every other part of our bodies, so are our teachers, businesses, healthcare workers, law enforcement and children connected to every family, every person in America and every human being on planet earth.

To think otherwise is to live in cognitive dissonance, pretending that all alone, we will survive.

When one part of our society fails and falls, so do many other parts of society. Our world fails and falls apart. We're just beginning to understand how dependent on each other we really are to improve our own lives.

We know how difficult it is for police officers and their families right now. Take a look at the incredible rates of rising crime in many cities across the U.S. That's a level of hatred and destruction we can no longer allow to control our communities, right?

So it's time to come together. To unite. To strengthen our souls. It's time to see and build a better future for our kids.
