A nourishing afternoon of restful, creative, and heart-opening experiences.

This is a space that invites you to slow down.
Your body softens. Your breath deepens.
You don’t feel the need to be anywhere else.

You’re welcomed gently, guided through the day with care, and held in an atmosphere that feels warm, open, and easy to settle into.
Time to create, time to rest, time to simply connect or be with yourself.

In Magical Mama, we know from experience that when moms come together in a safe space, and actively see one another as capable, and ✨then✨ share what’s hard, literal miracles happen! Other openhearted, open-minded moms, listening to you deeply, co-regulating with you, not trying to fix you, not judging you, but actually holding you in high regard, and believing that your answers lie within… that’s the magic!

A few hours where you don’t have to take care of anyone else. Where you can soften, be held, and simply exist without needing to give anything.

We just finished teaching an instinct and intuition class, in Magical Maidens, and I came up upon this post, from this awesome self-defense class in Texas! I love how these graphics explain what intuition is, why we should listen to it, and examples of actions we can take. From what I have read, the number one reason why women ultimately end up being significantly harmed by strange men is that they are put in situations where they have to choose between being overtly rude to that man or taking a step into a more vulnerable/dangerous situation. And, they choose to step into more susceptibility rather than be rude. We have to be rude, ladies. We have to be willing to risk being rude to someone whose intentions may or may not be good, in order keep ourselves safe and/or alive. Men need to learn this. They need to learn that if they are offering to bring a woman’s groceries up the stairs and to her apartment, that is something dangerous to that woman. Women need to say no to this, no matter how charming that man is. Is there an interest in having a class about this, including situational awareness, and maybe even some self-defense moves, where we can practice being rude, to keeping ourselves safe?
