The Cancer Caregiver Project is a new Cincinnati non-profit providing connection and conversation about the experience of life as a caregiver to cancer patients. Give them a follow to keep up with their work!

Hello to our new followers!
What's Our WHY? At The Cancer Caregiver Project
We believe community is the cornerstone of surviving tragedy.

Malignant and Magnificent:
My Family Caregiver Story with Metastatic Cancer.
I did not choose cancer; it chose US. My father AND My mother.

From 2013-2019 I served as a family caregiver. Our family spent 6 consecutive years running the gauntlet of Oncology until my parents respective deaths. This year in their memory, I have founded a new community.

The Cancer Caregiver Project is a charitable community founded in 2023 by Jen Boehner. Our advocates and contributors personally served as caregivers to family members who lived with and died from cancer.

We provide connection and conversation about the experience of life as a caregiver to cancer patients. Our mission will include an upcoming release of Caregiver Care Bags and in person events.

This evening I am proud to be attending the Wine, Women & Shoes Fundraiser as a sponsor and supporter of Cincinnati Cancer Advisors.

Cincinnati Cancer Advisors is a nonprofit oncology consultation practice that provides platinum-level second opinions, genetic testing and counseling, and financial navigation services to over 400 cancer patients each year. Due to generous donors and fundraising events such as Wine Women and Shoes, we are able to continue providing these services at no cost to the patient. COVID-19 VACCINE Q&A Hello Friends, Family, Colleagues! As you may know, I have spent the last 16+ years of my career working in clinical research. I’m currently a project director at a large CRO (clinical research organization) and work in early-phase oncology research. I also run a large In...

Thankfully the broad tweet from the President was SIGNIFICANTLY limited in the actual Proclamation. However, the statements within suggest more is coming. In short - all already in the US are safe and it does not limit H-1Bs, TNs, L-1s, etc. As someone who focuses my practice in healthcare, many of my clients have foreign nationals here who are directly fighting COVID-19. We don't need to limit those individuals being here!

On April 22, 2020, President Donald Trump signed a proclamation, Proclamation Suspending Entry of Immigrants Who Present Risk to the U.S. Labor Market During the Economic Recovery Following the COVID-19 Outbreak, which restricts certain categories of immigrants from entering the United States for 60...
