The first Thanksgiving. The first Christmas without them. The birthday that comes around anyway.

For a bereaved family, the hardest days of the year are already on the calendar. For the team supporting them, those dates arrive while you're managing everything else.

Bereavement 2.0 adds holiday lanes to your plan templates, so the card or the call goes out before the day, not after.

See it live October 14 at 1:00 PM ET.

If you run a hospice bereavement program, you already know that no two families move through the 13 months the same way.

One family wants a call every month. Another goes quiet in week three and resurfaces at the anniversary. The plan you set after the initial assessment doesn't always fit what comes later.

On October 14, we're showing Bereavement 2.0: risk lanes that follow each person's screening, a weekly call list for your team, and a mail run that keeps letters and cards on schedule.

Live, one hour, 1:00 PM ET.

Today is World Heart Day. ❤️

This year's campaign, Don't Miss a Beat, is about recognizing signs of cardiovascular disease that can be easy to miss.

Shoes that stopped fitting. Two pillows instead of one. A little more breathlessness on the walk to the mailbox.

Sometimes, noticing starts with a small change in someone's everyday routine.

Four days, one busy booth, and a whole lot of Dallas. 🤠

WellSky CareForum 2026 wrapped last week, and this year it landed in our hometown.

Our team spent the week at Booth 14 with home care agencies, home infusion teams, and specialty pharmacy teams. Michael Phelps took the keynote stage, the Client Appreciation Party filled the Longhorn Ballroom, and in between there were a lot of good conversations about the everyday work of caring for people at home.

Thanks to everyone who came by, and to WellSky for bringing this community together.

Here's a look back at the week 👇

The Homecare Homebase (HCHB) Users Conference brought plenty of learning, but the conversations were just as valuable.

Frank Brito caught up with Bailey Woodhams, Director of Technology Solutions at CommonSpirit Health, during HCHB in Orlando. They talked about what stood out from the event, the connections made along the way, and even a little about life outside of work.

Thanks for taking the time to chat with us, Bailey. It was great connecting!

CareForum 2026 is in our hometown of Dallas this week.

For home health and hospice teams, a lot of coordination happens between visits. Information has to move from the field to the office, across disciplines, to the on-call team, and to patients and families, often within hours.

Documenting what happened is one part of the work. Making sure the right person gets what they need, when they need it, is another, especially when everyone is working from somewhere different.

Those are the conversations we're interested in at CareForum.

QliqSOFT is sponsoring and exhibiting, with Krishna Kurapati, Frank Brito, John Lovitsch, and John Skowlund representing the team. Find us at Booth 14, WellSky Gallery, Level 3, through Wednesday.

We'd love to hear how your team handles the work between visits.

Our team is in Orlando this week for the Homecare Homebase Users Conference. You can find us at Booth 333 through Friday.

This year marks 20 years of the HCHB Users Conference, with the theme Forward Together.

Krishna Kurapati, Dr. Manoranjan Bhol, and Frank Brito are on the floor. If you’re attending, stop by and talk with the team about after-hours coverage, family communication, on-call routing, or connecting workflows with the systems you already use.

Ask any hospice leader what keeps them up at night, and it's rarely the clinical work.
It's the family who stopped answering three months after their loss. The caregiver quietly burning out on 27 unpaid hours a week. The 13-month bereavement window closing on someone who needed the call in month 14.
Every one of those moments is a person who slipped through - not because anyone stopped caring, but because there was no system to catch them.
That was the throughline at the AHHC of North Carolina Annual Conference this week. Across sessions on bereavement, caregiver support, and change leadership, the same message kept surfacing: compassion doesn't scale on its own. It needs structure behind it.
That's the work - making sure no family is forgotten.
