A year ago, I was days away from meeting my baby girl.

Saturday she turns ONE.

This year has been beautiful, exhausting, overwhelming, healing, and so much more. There were sleepless nights, moments I didn’t recognize myself, and moments I felt stronger than ever.

Today, these muscles aren’t just muscles to me. They’re proof of showing up when I was tired. Proof of rebuilding. Proof that motherhood doesn’t make us less strong — it gives us reasons to become stronger.💪🏼

Excuse me for the next several days while I cry because this year flew by. Happy almost 1st birthday to my baby girl, my last sweet and perfect baby.💗

I didn’t expect today to hit me this hard.

My babies finished Kindergarten and 1st grade today and somehow it feels like the end of an entire era of motherhood.

There’s something so emotional about watching your kids grow out of little seasons you were once completely overwhelmed by. The packed lunches, tiny backpacks, class parties, morning drop offs, all the little things that felt exhausting some days… suddenly feel bittersweet.

Motherhood is strange like that.

One minute you’re begging for a break and the next you’re crying because time won’t slow down.

I know I can’t be the only mom sitting here tonight feeling emotional over how fast it’s all going.

So to all the moms feeling the weight of growing babies and changing seasons today… I’m right there with you.

Seeing moms walk through the door for the very first time will never get old to me. 🤎

I know how intimidating it can feel to show up somewhere new — especially in a season where you already feel exhausted, overstimulated, or disconnected from yourself.

That’s why this space means so much to me.

Motherhood is beautiful… but it’s also exhausting, overwhelming, stretching, lonely, joyful, and everything in between.

Some days we feel strong.
Some days we cry in the bathroom and then come back out like nothing happened.
Some days we feel touched out, overstimulated, and completely unsure if we’re doing enough.

But we keep showing up anyway.

To the moms in the thick of little years, the moms carrying invisible mental loads, the moms who feel like they’ve lost pieces of themselves, the moms healing, waiting, grieving, trying, surviving, and loving deeply through it all…

Happy Mother’s Day. 🫶🏻

You are doing more than you think you are.
And your presence matters more than perfection ever will.

Okay ladies… I’ve had so many conversations lately with moms who want support and workouts they can actually fit into real life motherhood — kids, chaos, interruptions and all.

So this weekend I’m working on building out:
• at-home workouts
• replay options
• healthy meal/snack inspiration
• community support
• realistic motherhood fitness

Forge Motherhood was never meant to be about perfect workouts or fitting into a gym culture.

It’s about supporting moms in real life.

Some days that looks like showing up to class.
Some days it looks like squeezing in movement at home while your toddler climbs on you. 😅

That’s why I’m so excited to start building more ways for moms to be part of this community — whether that’s in person, at home, or somewhere in between.🤎
