It was an honor to see our community come together in support of healthy mothers and babies at the Count the Kicks press event, hosted by Senator Paula Hicks-Hudson in partnership with the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department.
Senator Paula Hicks-Hudson and the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department convened infant and maternal health stakeholders from across Lucas County for a press conference highlighting the Count the Kicks initiative. The event emphasized the critical importance of monitoring fetal health during pregnancy and showcased the many organizations throughout our county that are deeply committed to improving outcomes for families.
Hayley Studer, CPA, FHFMA Emily A. Scheuer, MPH and Crystal King, MPH, were proud to represent Health Council of Northwest Ohio (HCNO), Northwest Ohio Pathways HUB, and Queens Village at this important gathering.
A particularly meaningful moment was Crystal’s opportunity to represent Queens Village at the podium, helping to elevate the conversation around fetal health awareness and advancing collective efforts to support families across Northwest Ohio.
Thank you to Senator Paula Hicks-Hudson, the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department, and Neighborhood Health Association for their leadership in bringing partners together and advancing this vital work.
