🥐 A little clarification before tomorrow’s preorder goes LIVE at 11 AM! 🥖

I’ll have two different croissant-inspired breads available, and I want to make sure everyone understands exactly what they’re ordering!

🥖 Croissant Sourdough Loaf
This is a true sourdough artisan loaf, but with a buttery twist! The butter is incorporated during the stretch-and-fold process, creating a rich, buttery sourdough loaf with delicious layers throughout. It still has that beautiful artisan sourdough texture and flavor you know and love, but with a stick of butter 🤪

🥐 Croissant Sandwich Loaf
This is a completely different process! This bread is made with yeast dough and laminated butter, using a rolling pin and folding technique similar to how a traditional croissant is made. The result is a soft sandwich loaf with buttery, croissant-style layers!

In short:
🥖 Croissant Sourdough = naturally leavened sourdough + butter laminated during the stretch-and-fold process (pictured on left)
🥐 Croissant Sandwich Bread = yeast dough + traditional rolling-pin butter lamination (pictured on right)

Both are buttery, delicious, and made with lots of love, just two very different breads and techniques!

🥚🐓 A little something that makes Farrar Farmacy baking special… every egg we use is fresh from the farm!

The chickens are 100% free-range, meaning they get to roam, scratch, forage, and spend their days enjoying the great outdoors.

To me, there’s just something special about knowing exactly where your ingredients come from. Fresh eggs from happy, well-loved chickens go into some of the breads, bagels, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and other things I make! 🫶
