Short notice but someone might find interest.

A distorted relationship with GOD —not as something outside of you, but as the very awareness of being that lives through you.

Social forecast has dropped and it's good!
April 20th - 26

Monday 4/20 🧭
Start the week with intention. Map out one core family activity and one social outing with friends, then actually send the invite. Direct, warm and specific messaging land well this week. A clear plan today sets the tone for a week full of real connection.

Tuesday 4/21 ♟️
Best day to make the first move. Message two or three people with a low-pressure invite. If there is someone you have been meaning to ask out, this is your window! Keep it light, specific and very human.😅 People say yes to plans that feel easy.

Wednesday 4/22 💖
Conversations feel more genuine, more compassionate, more real. This is not the night for a big loud party. It's for a small dinner, long walk, kitchen table conversation that goes somewhere meaningful. Host something relaxed and invite someone you want to get closer to. Focus on listening more than talking. People remember how you made them feel long after they forget what you said.

Thursday 4/23 😍x 2
If you couldn't bring yourself to ask that special person out on Tuesday, do it today, and mean it. Not often the stars aford a shoot-yout-shot moment twice in one week! If you are already partnered go realer, make it count. If you are parenting be fully present. Extend a clear invitation with a kind, specific note and let the other person feel genuinely seen. Connection is the currency of this day. What honest thing have you been waiting to say?

Fri-yay! 4/24 🎉
The biggest social energy of the week lands today. Host or attend something more organised like a group dinner, game night, or celebration. Curate the guest list with care; quality over quantity always wins. Have a backup plan in case things shift, then let the evening unfold. Celebrate the week, especially the small wins.

Saturday 4/25 😽
Family & close-circle day. No agenda, or rushing but think about a day trip, hike, museum visit, or long lunch with people who fill your cup. Whatever it looks like, make it about presence over productivity. End the day with a shared reflection, a little toast, a moment of gratitude. Small rituals create lasting bonds.

Sunday 4/26 🌇
A gentle, soft close to the week. Quiet catch-ups and a warm message to the people who showed up for you. Send a thank-you to a host. Celebrate the connections you made. Set one gentle social intention for the week ahead. A well-rested, well-loved soul is a powerful one! 🤗

Last night I attended the Tucson Youg Professionals CEO Roundtable and I left genuinely moved.

Aimee Graves, CEO of The Haven has led one of Tucson's most vital nonprofit organizations as Executive Director for the past four years with a career of over 27 years in the nonprofit sector specifically in behavioural health.

If you're not familiar with The Haven, it's a 56 a year old sanctuary providing residential treatment for women with substance use disorders and mental health challenges.

Every year they serve 500-600 women with high level care 24/7 for up to 90 days.

Through a wholistic approach care also includes keeping children with their mothers. Being gender specific and mindful of the importance for families to stay together really sets this organisation apart from others.

Aimee spoke candidly about the very real pressures facing nonprofits today. Tightening regulations, rising compliance costs driven by fraud prevention and the cultural and funding shifts reshaping the sector. Pure honesty from someone who has been in the trenches for decades.

Aimee was asked to answer the following questions with just one word.

What she looks for most when hiring, she didn't say experience or credentials.

She said kindness.

One word to describe Tucson?

Community.

Describe your career.

Fortuitous

After her talk, I had the chance for an introduction and what I can only describe as a genuinely warm hug from a woman who leads with her whole heart. In a world of polished executive personas, Aimee Graves is the real thing. Grounded, generous and quietly remarkable.
