Our Teen Group finally got to see the finished rehab patio mural featuring the fish they created! 🐟💙

In addition to leading a very fun clay workshop, local artist Colleen Conlin of Colleen Conlin designed and created the larger-scale coral and fish, bringing all the pieces together into one amazing underwater scene inspired by our clinic fishtank. 🌊✨

There’s something pretty amazing about seeing your own creation become part of something bigger. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to the Arizona Commission on the Arts for funding this project and to Colleen for sharing her incredible talent and vision with our teens!

Our hearts are full after an incredible Back-to-School Fair at Children's Clinics! We are grateful for the sponsors, volunteers, and community partners who came together to create a day filled with smiles, connection, and support for the children, teens, young adults, and families we serve.

Together, we distributed more than 600 backpacks filled with school supplies, helping our patients start the school year feeling prepared and confident. A huge thank you to Mercy Care for serving as the Champion of Hope presenting sponsor of the Fair - which allowed us to buy the backpacks and fill them up, and for rolling up their sleeves to join us in passing them out. Your partnership makes a lasting difference for the families we serve!

We are also grateful for the Builders of Hope sponsorship support we received from Costco, Pima Federal Credit Union, and Walmart with additional support from Pongratz Orthotics and Prosthetics.

✂️ A special shoutout to Supercuts Arizona, who generously provided free haircuts for our patients and families, helping everyone head back to school looking and feeling their best.

🍧 And what would an Arizona summer celebration be without a cool treat? Thank you to the eegee's Sweet Ride Team for bringing delicious, ice-cold Eegee’s treats for our families and volunteers. You helped make the day extra special!

Children’s Clinics families are invited to join us on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 2:00–5:00 PM for our annual Back-to-School Fair!

Students will receive:
✏️ Backpacks and school supplies
💇 Free haircuts provided by Supercuts
🎉 A fun afternoon getting ready for the new school year
