The critter crew is SUPER excited to be attending the Twain Harte Summer Festival in a few weeks! Come see Scout the tegu, Beetlejuice the kingsnake, Gooby and Gumby the tree frogs, Zoolander the crested gecko, Slinky the blue tongue skink, Ziggy the tarantula, Nacho the beardie and all your other friends here at Sierra Scales Exotics!

You will get up close and personal encounters with our critters, be able to pet them, learn about them, and even be able to get an exclusive handling session + photo op for $5! We will also be making 3d printed reptiles, amphibians and inverts for you to "adopt" and take home! And if creativity is your jam, we will have freebies like coloring pages, activity pages, and stickers!

We are ssso excited to be attending the Indigeny Spring Festival this year! Come see us to learn about cool reptiles, amphibians, and invertebratesss in person! You will be able to look at ssseveral amazing animals, touch them, and if you want snap a selfie with a critter you can do ssso for $5!

What do you do when you find a whole COLONY OF ANTS has moved into your bioactive reptile tank over night? (Other than cry 😢)

Crank up your favorite jams and clean, clean, clean, clean, clean clean, and you guess it; clean some more! Nah, it's not that bad, once you know how to deal with it!

I am filming my process for others, since this is like the 5th time I've dealt with this. 🙃

😍Confession time: I may be obsessed with these underrated isopods!

🤞Really hoping my small colony starts producing more so I can add them to the my ball pythons bioactive haven and look at them every day!

Until then, I'll just have to admire them during pod tub refreshments.
