We spend so much of our day responding to everyone else.

A Reiki session is one of the few places where nothing is expected of you. You don’t have to fix anything, solve anything, or be “on.”

You simply get to rest.

If you’ve been feeling mentally exhausted, emotionally stretched, or like you’ve been carrying too much, this is your invitation to pause, and I’m here to support you.

every. single. time.

I grew up being the first in my family to take many things on. The first to earn a college education (with a doctorate on the way), the first to build multiple businesses, the first to buy a home, and the list goes on.

While most of those are material accomplishments, they required the courage to figure things out on my own and get them done. It’s a skill I’ve carried throughout my life as a first-generation Latina.

The thing about being the first is that no one really tells you how much uncertainty comes with it. There’s no blueprint. No one to call who’s already done it. You just trust yourself, take the next step, and figure it out as you go.

I’m proud to say I’m also the first to lean into my spiritual gifts to help people. What I consider to be my life’s purpose and mission, if you will.

To be honest, this path has probably required the most courage of all. It’s one thing to build a business or earn a degree. It’s another thing entirely to trust what’s in your heart when it doesn’t always clear on paper, but it’s clear in my mind and heart. That’s what matters the most to me.

I’m a builder at heart, so you can expect to see more coming from me and Paz Reiki. More ways to support healing. More opportunities to gather. More spaces for people to reconnect with themselves.

And just like everything else I’ve been the first to do, I’ll figure it out one step at a time.

With so much love,

Tanya
