Our KIVA loan has been public for 1 week now and we are $1300 away from meeting our goal and expanding Mobile Memory Enrichment, LLC.

thank you to everyone who has contributed to this journey.

I think the biggest update we have is we have a new client starting in September.
yesterday we went and did a meet and greet and I had phone consultation after. Just before I went in to the meet and greet, I received another inquiry for services. and just after I got off the phone call consultation I had another inquiry come in for services.

To me, this just shows how important mme services are for families and caregivers.

Hi everyone,

I want to say a heartfelt thank-you to the 61 people who have already supported our Kiva loan. Because of you, Mobile Memory Enrichment is almost half funded, with $3,550 remaining toward our $7,000 goal.

Your support is helping us grow something that means so much to me: meaningful connection for people living with dementia and practical support for the families who love them.

In Oregon, approximately 188,000 unpaid dementia caregivers provide 291 million hours of care valued at $8 billion.

Conventional in-home caregiving costs approximately $40 per hour. For a family purchasing five hours of support each week, that can add up to approximately $867 per month.

But Mobile Memory Enrichment is not a traditional caregiving agency.

We provide personalized dementia enrichment and real-time coaching for families and caregivers while we are in the home. Our visits can also create opportunities for caregivers to take a much-needed break.

Our monthly plans include:

• 1 session: $65.
• 2 sessions: $120.
• 4 sessions: $220.
• 8 sessions: $400.

These focused visits give families another way to access meaningful support without purchasing a larger caregiving schedule than they need.

Since the beginning of 2024, we have provided 1,384 enrichment sessions. This year alone, we have added four adult foster homes, welcomed four new in-home clients, and expanded our team.

We successfully repaid our first Kiva loan, and this second opportunity will help us reach even more families.

Expanding local dementia support – 12 days left to reach our milestone!

Hi neighbors! I’m Jesse Azzopardi, Certified Dementia Specialist and owner of Mobile Memory Enrichment in Hillsboro. We provide direct activity engagement for individuals living with dementia and guidance for family caregivers.

We’re expanding across Washington County and raising a 0% interest Kiva loan to hire new Activity Coaches and launch digital caregiver resources!

How you can help:

Mobile Memory Enrichment’s second Kiva campaign is officially live!

We successfully repaid our first Kiva loan, which helped us build our website and strengthen our digital foundation. Now, we are returning to Kiva to expand the next stage of our work supporting people living with dementia, family caregivers, and Adult Foster Homes.

Kiva is a nonprofit crowdfunding platform that connects small businesses with individual lenders. Community members can lend as little as $25, and those funds are repaid through Kiva over time. During our private fundraising period, we must gather 30 individual lenders before our campaign can open to Kiva’s worldwide lending community.

Our $7,000 loan will help fund:

• $1,500 for a Digital Resource Store and e-commerce integration
• $1,800 for outreach to Adult Foster Homes, in-home families, and referral partners
• $2,000 for hiring, onboarding, training, and initial payroll for Activity Coaches
• $1,000 for Learning Lab equipment and mobile Activity Library materials
• $700 for PAL Kit prototypes, demonstration materials, packaging, and initial inventory

This is a repayable loan through Kiva, not a donation. Every lender helps demonstrate confidence in our business and moves us closer to expanding person-centered dementia support throughout our community.
