Iā€™ve been experimenting with different soap bar shapes, and now Iā€™m curious what you prefer. Right now I have:

ā€¢ Wider bars ā€“ big, chunky, and feel really nice in your handā€¢ More square bars ā€“ simple, classic, and sturdyā€¢ Tall & skinny bars ā€“ sleek, unique, and really eye-catching

I personally love the look of the tall and skinny bars ā€” they just feel a little more elegant and aesthetic to me. But what matters most is what you all enjoy using!

I didnā€™t realize picking a font would be the hardest part of creating the new Olde Crow Homestead logoā€¦ but here we are.

Three fonts. Three completely different personalities.One feels historic and weathered.One feels bold and confident.One feels quiet and timeless.

And now Iā€™m stuck staring at them, changing my mind every five minutes.

People in the past have said, '$10 for a bar of soap?!'

Let me show you why that is. I went to order my lye because I found a great deal. However, there's a dangerous goods surcharge, which there normally always is, but $54?! Even if there wasn't this big surcharge, the shipping is still more than the product price. So, before you go bashing how much a small business is charging, think about how pricey it can be for us! Small businesses don't charge higher prices just because; it's because we have to factor the extra fees into our price plus our time and labor.
