✨ Fresh batch of Elderberry syrup ready!

Our famous Elderberry & Rose Hip Syrup is a tasty way to support your family's wellness. Don't get caught without it with school starting and the cold and flu season around the corner!

Our recipe includes Filtered water, locally grown and harvested elderberry, organic rose hip, organic fresh ginger and local raw treatment free honey. We use honey from local beekeeper Honey Hill. Two sizes to choose from half pint for $15 and full pints for $28.

Elderberry is most commonly known for its immune boosting properties. It is also full of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and heart healthy compounds. Rose hip is a great source of vitamin c and contain bioflavonoids that increase absorption of vitamins and minerals. Ginger is a great addition that holds a wealth of benefits including anti-inflammatory, aiding digestion, pain relief, and germ fighting compounds. Local raw honey is another ingredient that holds a host of benefits in your wellness routine. Honey may reduce seasonal allergies, fight inflammation, fight bacteria and many more benefits!

Our recipe is a tasty soothing syrup that I infused with a lot of love! From berry harvest to bottling I craft with care for you and our environment.

✨📚 Our first workshop at our new location!

Join us on September 12 at 9:00 AM for a hands-on Elderberry Workshop!

We’ll begin with a short foraging walk to identify elderberry, wild lettuce, goldenrod, and other edible and medicinal plants along the way. Then we’ll dive into the many uses of elderberry and make our own elderberry syrup and tincture together in the workshop.

A great morning for anyone curious about foraging, herbal preparations and working with plants in a practical, welcoming way. Be prepared for the upcoming cold and flu season! You will leave with the knowledge to craft your own elderberry products along with a sample of the syrup we will make in the workshop. All participants will also receive a sample sized elderberry syrup kit to craft at home and an info packet with recipes.

Workshop will be held at Bee-Lightful Botanicals in our apothecary. We will take a short walk to view the elder trees and discuss any edible and medicinal plants we encounter. We will then head back to the apothecary to discuss the wonders of elder and craft a delicious elderberry syrup that's packed with immune boosting vitamins, minerals and antioxidants! We will discuss other herbs that are commonly used with elder and how to incorporate them into your preparations. We will also discuss other extraction methods such as tinctures, infused honeys and vinegars. Along with how to source quality elderberries.

Workshop will last about 2 hours. $50 per person. Class sizes are very limited! Be prepared for a short walk (comfortable closed toed shoes, water bottle) Visit our website to register - bee-lightfulbotanicals.square.site

Goldenrod gets blamed every August because it is impossible to miss. The real troublemaker is usually blooming quietly right beside it.

Goldenrod pollen is heavy and sticky. Insects carry it from flower to flower. Ragweed pollen is light enough to ride the wind — exactly how it reaches our noses.

So before pulling every yellow bloom, look for the plain green ragweed spikes nearby. Goldenrod is feeding bees and butterflies when many summer flowers are already fading.

Save the yellow. Learn the green.

💬 Did you grow up blaming goldenrod too?
