Why do we believe this will impact a child's life?
Page Ahead's mission is guided by the fact that literacy is essential to lifelong success; therefore, Page Ahead provides new books and develops reading activities that empower at-risk children.
Additional, as you know Harriet's Bad Hair Day is a socio-emotional Brave Enough book for parents designed with children in mind.
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is critical for children because it teaches essential skills for managing emotions, setting goals, showing empathy, maintaining positive relationships, and making responsible decisions. It improves academic performance, boosts mental wellness, and reduces stress, anxiety, and behavioral issues. All the while, designed to help parents help their child write true narratives about self and others.
Your donation of $10 will purchase a book for one child. (Please note: The retail price of the book is $24.99. It is a hard cover book with beautiful illustrations by Brian Dum. Also, Brave Enough is partnering with you by reducing the cost of one book to $10.)
