I know a lot of my market is candles and soaps but I also play a little with , I haven't watched it yet but I just wanted to give you all some nice little information.. is a type of resin and there are several types of resins,
🔹 1. Epoxy Resin
* Two-part (resin + hardener)
* Strong, clear, durable
* Slower cure, low odor
* Best for: art, coatings, tabletops, sealing
🔹 2. Polyester Resin
* Cheaper, widely used in industry
* Strong but more brittle than epoxy
* Strong chemical smell (needs ventilation)
* Best for: fiberglass work (boats, auto body)
🔹 3. Polyurethane Resin
* Fast curing (sometimes minutes)
* Can be rigid or flexible depending on formula
* Sensitive to moisture (can mess up your result)
* Best for: molds, casting parts, prototyping
🔹 4. UV Resin
* Cures instantly under UV light
* Usually single-part (no mixing)
* Great for small projects only
* Best for: jewelry, tiny crafts, quick fixes
🔹 5. Acrylic Resin
* Often water-based
* Lower toxicity compared to others
* Not as strong as epoxy
* Best for: coatings, paints, safer indoor use
🔹 6. Phenolic Resin
* Heat-resistant and very tough
* Used more in industrial settings
* Best for: electronics, circuit boards, brake pads
🔹 7. Silicone Resin (technically elastomer, but often grouped in)
* Flexible, rubber-like
* Heat and weather resistant
* Best for: molds, seals, gaskets
🔹 8. Natural Resins
* From plants (like tree sap)
* Examples:
* Amber
* Frankincense
* Best for: incense, varnish, traditional uses
