💜 Celebrating Women in Respiratory Care
This month, we’re proud to highlight the incredible women who have helped shape respiratory care—and today we recognize one of our own, Patricia Davis.
Patricia has dedicated 44 years to the field of Respiratory Therapy, building a career defined by leadership, compassion, and impact. She began her journey at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Rahway, while also supporting Clark Nursing Home through a contracted respiratory program.
In 2005, Patricia played a key role in developing the ventilator unit at Clark, helping to expand critical care services in a long-term care setting. After an impressive 30-year tenure at Rahway, she continued her journey working at Palisades Hospital and Genesis facilities as a traveling Respiratory Therapist.
Her excellence did not go unnoticed—in 2013, Patricia was recognized as the #1 Respiratory Therapist in the state of New Jersey by the New Jersey Society for Respiratory Care (NJSRC).
She later stepped into a leadership role as Director of the Vent Unit at Genesis Westfield, and in 2021, joined New Jersey Respiratory Associates as the Vent Director at Complete Care Westfield, where she continues to lead with experience and heart.
Patricia has always believed in the power of long-term care, sharing:
“I love working in long-term care—I feel that we can truly make a difference in someone’s life.”
Outside of her career, Patricia is a proud mother of three and grandmother of five, bringing that same care and dedication into both her personal and professional life.
At NJRA, we are honored to have leaders like Patricia who continue to inspire, mentor, and elevate the standard of respiratory care every day.
💜 Here’s to the women who lead, build, and make a lasting impact—today and every day.
