Hello friends! Are you well? My inner 3-yr old says 'Hi'.😄

It's been a while. I miss our little yoga community and I miss YOU. A wise teacher once told me, when I was working toward my yoga teacher training certification, that she practices for her students and teaches for herself. At the time, her statement didn't make sense to me. Didn't people teach to help others? Teach for others? If a teacher taught for herself, did that make it all about her? Was it an ego trip? I was confused. Really confused.

Today, over 6 years later, I understand. But I'd never have had that understanding unless I'd embodied being a teacher, which scared me to death in the beginning. So I'm taking an informal poll. If I were to resume teaching yoga locally – and in person – would you be interested? Drop me a comment to let me know. 💗

Over the past two years, I've felt this statement as true in my bones. The asana, or postures, often come and go for me like tides. Even if I'm not teaching, or getting on my mat daily, that residue has seeped into me and the way I live. And I'm forever grateful. 🍃
