Many years ago the DASH diet and the Mediterranean diet came out for heart disease. Then Dr Adkins diet for weight loss ( now renamed the ketogenicdiet) , eat five meals, skip meals, grapefruit diet, don’t eat fruit. The list goes on and on . But I am strictly wanting to share with you the latest on Brain health.
In a recent long term study of the aging and brain health, they found that those who did sudoku or puzzles only got better at that, and not preventing brain deterioration . The only thing they found helped , that changed the brain was...... Whole Foods and exercise that pumps the blood and requires focus. Best diet that improved brain health? The same diet That Is good for your heart health.
Your take away?......Your body is inner connected. What we put in our bodies not only can clog our arteries, but our brain function ..

South Metro HIIT Walking
This is a free group for anyone whose favorite form of exercise is walking, and wants to burn more calories, and see some beautiful trails around Denver and the surrounding areas. Come meet other people, have fun, in a simple way to start an exercise program. I am a personal trainer and will lead the walk, drills, games and walking form clinic.
