🌿 Yesterday’s harvest: WORMWOOD!

Freshly harvested and headed straight into our tincture-making process!

Wormwood is a powerful, intensely bitter herb with a long history of traditional herbal use, especially for digestive support and intestinal health. It’s definitely one of those herbs where a little goes a long way!

This fresh harvest will be made into wormwood tinctures and then given plenty of time to steep before they’re ready to be bottled.

One of our favorite parts of what we do is knowing exactly where our herbs came from, when they were harvested, and what goes into every step from plant → tincture → bottle. 🌱

🌿 11½ GALLONS of tinctures put up today!

It was a BIG tincture-making day around here! We put up 11½ gallons to begin their long steep, including a brand-new addition to our tincture lineup: TAMARIND!

Tamarind has a long history of traditional use and is packed with naturally occurring plant compounds, including flavonoids and other polyphenols. Research into tamarind suggests potential benefits including,

🌿 Antioxidant support
🌿 Supports a healthy inflammatory response
🌿 May support healthy blood sugar metabolism
🌿 May support healthy cholesterol & lipid metabolism
🌿 Digestive support
🌿 Contains beneficial minerals and plant compounds

And this beauty is officially tucked away to steep! Our tinctures are given a minimum of 3 months to extract all that plant goodness, so Tamarind won’t be available just yet… but she’s officially brewing. 🌱
