She's here! Meet Smyrna! The newest addition to our herd. Here mama Lilly tried waiting for us to get home from our New Smyrna Beach Florida vaction, were about 30 mins to late to witness the birth but extremely happy to welcome our frist ever heifer calf to the homestead!

Happenings on the farm yesterday.... Mixing over 3,000 lbs of grain for the animals. Step by step we are becoming a more self staining farm!

Easter is right around the corner! I have a Tom and hen turkey up for the grabs! Fed local grain through the winter, big healthy birds. Currently cage free 3.75 a lb

We are so excited and blessed to be donating hatching eggs again this year to Spencer Van Etten classrooms! ♡ Any other teacher wanting to spark the hearts and minds of their classroom students by hatching chicks let us know and we would be happy to donate !

Who wants to buy into our chicken csa this spring? Grass fed, moved everyday, local feed, no hormones, all natural birds.....
Or you can always run to the store and risk your health ?

I don’t know about the rest of you, but lately my poultry purchases at my local market have become more and more of a ‘hit-and-miss’ situation, with more ‘misses’ if I’m being honest. As I bite into my homemade chicken nuggets...
