I know it’s been quite on here, but we’ve been busy bees 🐝! I’ve been working a lot with my other job which means I don’t have a whole lot of time to dedicate to our page at the moment, but I can tell you some exciting things have been in the works here! I’ve been working on expanding & adding a couple things, but I’m keeping quiet on those for now!
I will share with you all though about One-Eyed W***y! He had his eye removed & was neutered about a week ago & you would thing nothing ever happened to this rambunctious little fella! He was suppose to be a foster, but with much consideration he is now officially apart of our family 🫶💛!
Thank you all for continuing this journey with us & I can wait to share with you all what we have in the works! 🌳🌱🐓

Happy Sunday Y’all!!

Wanted to share a little update with you all about the kitten we took in several weeks back! Originally we started with the name “cotton-eyed Joe”, but choose we did not like the name and went with One-Eyed W***y!
Well One-Eyed W***y had his first vet appointment a couple days ago and all went well! He’s a little over 6 months old & weighs 4.5lbs. They put him on antibiotics & got him some flea meds to start his recovery journey!
Unfortunately, surgery for his eye has to be postponed due to lack of funds at the moment. We have most & working on getting the rest very soon! We hope to get his eye fixed sometime into next week! I’m not one to ask for help & understand most are going through hard times, but if you can or feel like donating to the cause here is our Payapps we use! Any little bit helps get this poor baby seen sooner!

Literally no stress if you can’t! He will eventually been seen! Again, we have most of the funds just a matter of when! If you do donate just know it’s going towards a good cause & quick recovery! 💛💛
We hope you all have a beautiful rest of your Labor Day weekend!

You may have noticed it being a bit quite on our page right now & that’s due to us taking a couple weeks break to focus on tackling projects & much needed chores to get our food forest ready for fall/winter! New raised beds, a shed that needs built, several bee hives, & other things in the works for next year, so we can add more on top of what we already offer!
Our work schedules have been a little chaotic & consuming any free time, but we do still have plenty of eggs you just have to reach out!
Thank you all for understanding during this break & we appreciate all the support we’ve gained along the way!
Keep being beautiful! 💛🫶🌳

🐓Farm update/photo dump 🌱

This Sunday has been at day of observation & rest! A day to relax, rejuvenate, & let the ideas flow for the future!

We started the day off with a hive inspection, due to a swarm happening the beginning of August. I was starting to get worried we had a queenless hive! Thankfully some dear friends of ours came over to look it over with me! They are weak, but I’m faithful we can help them get back their strength!
Other than normal cleaning maintenance & feedings I had the opportunity to do a walk through the FoodForest to see what’s happening! Still lots of blooms & produce rearing their heads. Lots of new critters including olive egger chicks, chicken tractor full of babies/meat birds, & several new runner ducks!
And of course several projects in the midst that I can’t wait to share with you, but for now those shall remain a mystery! I hope you all enjoy these photos that encapsulate the mess we call our food forest! 🌳

I tell you one of the best things about events…it’s not making a sell it’s seeing so many familiar faces come up to our booth, its the conversations, it’s meeting new friends & making community! When I tell you after working a nightshift I had doubts about attending the Farm & Animal swap meet today, but I can tell you I’m glad I chose to go! Thank you all for making this journey that much more enjoyable & beautiful!
And now it’s time to catch some sleep! We hope you all have a beautiful weekend! 💛🥒
