We also have a basket of orange & yellow tomatoes for $5 or .50 a tomato! Pickup only

🐓Farm update/photo dump 🌱

This Sunday has been at day of observation & rest! A day to relax, rejuvenate, & let the ideas flow for the future!

We started the day off with a hive inspection, due to a swarm happening the beginning of August. I was starting to get worried we had a queenless hive! Thankfully some dear friends of ours came over to look it over with me! They are weak, but I’m faithful we can help them get back their strength!
Other than normal cleaning maintenance & feedings I had the opportunity to do a walk through the FoodForest to see what’s happening! Still lots of blooms & produce rearing their heads. Lots of new critters including olive egger chicks, chicken tractor full of babies/meat birds, & several new runner ducks!
And of course several projects in the midst that I can’t wait to share with you, but for now those shall remain a mystery! I hope you all enjoy these photos that encapsulate the mess we call our food forest! 🌳

I tell you one of the best things about events…it’s not making a sell it’s seeing so many familiar faces come up to our booth,its the conversations, it’s meeting new friends & making community! When I tell you after working a nightshift I had doubts about attending the Farm & Animal swap meet today, but I can tell you I’m glad I chose to go! Thank you all for making this journey that much more enjoyable & beautiful!
And now it’s time to catch some sleep! We hope you all have a beautiful weekend! 💛🥒

I apologize for my short comings lately. Between work, home life, & trying to run a business life has been a little stressful & overwhelming. Trying to stay on top of it, but I feel like I’m falling behind & letting people down when it comes to events! I’m really trying here & I appreciate every ounce of love, support, & understandings you all send our way! Much love from our farm to you! This evenings harvest had a couple surprises in it! Some very long red Chinese beans, a maypop (passion fruit), some goji berries, ground cherries, & lots of everything else! This is the first year our passion flowers have given us fruit after 4 years, so they must be very happy with the extra bees on patrol!
