Hey California OTs! Looking forward to seeing you at the OTAC Spring Symposium in San Jose this weekend!

I’ll be presenting “Fertility & Function: Why Occupational Therapy Belongs in Reproductive Health,” a session exploring how fertility challenges impact daily life, routines, relationships, occupational balance, and overall well-being.

We’ll discuss the science of fertility, the lived experience of infertility and fertility treatment, and practical ways occupational therapists can support clients through evidence-informed interventions focused on sleep, stress management, nutrition, pelvic health, habits, routines, and participation.

Whether you work in pelvic health, women’s health, primary care, mental health, or general practice, this session will provide actionable tools you can begin using with your clients right away.

Can’t wait to connect, learn, and continue expanding OT’s role in reproductive health. See you there!

Menopause changes more than just hormones — it can also impact muscle mass, fat distribution, metabolism, energy levels, bone health, and how your body feels day to day.

These changes are real, common, and deserving of support.

The good news? With the right strategies, women can support body composition, strength, pelvic health, and overall well-being through this transition.

Whether you’re navigating perimenopause, menopause, pelvic symptoms, or simply wanting to feel more connected to your body again, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I’m here to support you through personalized women’s health coaching and pelvic health services designed to help you feel strong, informed, and empowered through every stage.

Big changes in women’s health research 👀

Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS) is being renamed to Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) following an international consensus process published in The Lancet.

Why does this matter?

Because the term “PCOS” never fully captured the complexity of the condition. PMOS acknowledges the endocrine, metabolic, reproductive, and whole-body impacts many patients experience daily.

A name change alone won’t solve gaps in care — but many experts hope it will improve awareness, diagnosis, education, and multidisciplinary treatment approaches.

Save this post for later & share with someone navigating PCOS/PMOS
