Last year, I visited the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial in Washington D.C. There were quotes from his speeches engraved in the walls surrounding his statue pictured here. Reading those quotes amplified that Dr. King understood how multiple forms of oppression weighed down on people. He left a legacy and there are so many who have carried it on. I have a feeling a new wave of progress is on the horizon. Let’s take this day to continue our preparations for the journey. Take good care of yourself, and send care to others. ❤️

Did you get some fresh air today?

Since sheltering-in-place and working-from-home started, I can go days in a row in the house - going from one room to another, again and again. It makes me grateful for our house! It also makes me restless to get outside.

So, after all the zoom meetings were done, I put on my sneakers and went on a walk with my best bud - my pops.

I’m so glad we did!

The air was fresh and cool. We saw a fox catch a goose. Then we caught this beautiful sunset.

I’m so glad I got out of the house today.

I hope you got a breath of fresh air today - whatever that looks like for you. 💕

Don’t be afraid to shine!

I’ve heard people say that something was “greasy” as a negative thing. But when I was a little girl, mom would give me a bath and then lotion me from head to toe. She called it “greasing me down.” It was like a massage! I remember feeling clean, fresh and so cared for!

She taught me how to take good care of my skin.

She taught me that my skin was worthy of care!

That is how I feel now when I use Dabi Dabi.

After a long day, I ran a hot bath and used Dabi Dabi afterwards. I looked in the mirror and saw myself shining! It felt so good.

I hope you take good care of the skin you are in! Don’t be afraid to shine!

Now it feels like winter. It was such a beautiful day today! The snow was wet, weighted and perfectly placed. The sun came out. Birds were active. Squirrels chased each other across the street - true story. Nature did it’s thing today.
