Morris Needs a Liver Now

Morris Needs a Liver Now This page is to help Morris get a liver transplant. Morris is a US citizen who, due to a childhood parasitic illness, is in need of a liver. Can you help?

Find out more about how to help Morris. My name is Morris Kenneh. I am from Guinea West Africa and a naturalized US citizen. Due to parasites contracted as a child, my liver is damaged and I can no longer work, drive or do much of anything. The only option I have is for someone to donate a part of their liver to me. Then I can live 100% normally. Please see details in the NKR website (www.nkr.org/AYC522).

We now have the basement set up and ready for Morris in hopes of a liver transplant. the renovation of the bathroom to be wheelchair accessible will be done Monday. Weve got the wheelchair, the grab bars, the outdoor ramps, the shower chair, the lift chair etc etc. which means all he needs now is a liver!

Back to back stays in the ER/hospital in April. Both directly related to liver not functioning like the rest of us. I really thought the symptoms for the second trip before calling 911 was Parkinsonism but nope-t'was the excessive ammonia in his brain. He doesn't remember 36-48 hours of that insane fiasco. Let's hope the month of May is better. He's ok for now.

Morris Kenneh is seeking a living liver donor. Paired exchange may allow you to help even if you’re not a direct match. Confidential screening takes only a few minutes.

Another visit with the liver Dr at Upenn. still on the list but still at the very very bottom. I'm thinking it will continue like this forever. We are tired.

For those of you "viewing " please consider testing to see if you can be a living donor. The longer we wait (it's already been years) the more the Parkinsonism will have taken away from his abilities. Just writing this because I removed this page from a health vendor scam, but am still getting random views.

Had a few days in the mountains at the end of October. Great to get away for a bit! Happy Shannon was able to join us! Today had an evaluation for additional home care so will found out in about 2 weeks. In the interim if we find a living donor that would be awesome. Between 24-50 of age with blood type O positive and requires medical tests and about 6 weeks post op without working.

Morris is now officially on the transplant list. Still a lot of waiting but I need to put together a go bag, and figure out how I can drive the 3 hours without having an anxiety attack or falling asleep. I suppose I can print out the directions for most of the way and get a car phone charger for starters.

Ok I'm getting notices that around 20-30 people are "viewing" this page the last few days. In a normal world I would be happy. In the current climate I am confused as to who they are and why. They don't comment they don't follow or like, or offer to get tested to see if they are eligible, just "view". A month or so ago I received some odd emails about adding this page to a vendor group for health products. I deleted blocked and all of that. I may take this page down but going to consider many other things first. That's it.

Morris ate the big leaves before I got a good picture! Anyway after eating the leaves cooked with other food for 3 days his joints feel better! Thanks to a friend's plant app we learned these are a type of eggplant (but round and yellow/green). Been transplanting and trying to figure out how to keep them growing and ready to eat all year!

Parkinson's test result was positive so now we are on the PD ride too. Trying to figure out if a liver transplant will make a difference. We may never know. Keep sending positivity to Morris. Thanks.
