This evening walking through the metro station, I overheard some young ladies talking and they said, “everything is beautiful and sad all at the same time.” And that resonated with me today... the last several days have been marked with reminders of the precious fragility of life...it is like we are walking on the edge of a cliff wondering if our footing will remain steady or if at any moment we could fall... you could fall, and if you fall—into your emotions, your memories, the intense energy afoot, I hope you grow the wings you need to fly. Sending my love to you all...

One of the coolest things that I have ever seen in my life hands down was The Apollo 11 projected onto the Washington Monument and blasting off. If you are in the DC area and can make it down to the National Mall to see it today (last day), this 17 minute video is totally worth seeing start to finish. When I was little I dreamt of being an astronaut 👩🏾‍🚀; life didn’t turn out that way but my fascination with the cosmos has never left. On days when I feel my hope in humanity slipping, things like this reminds me of the great things we are able to and capable of accomplishing! 🙏🏾💕♥️ #💫
