🚨 PREGNANT & SPICY PSA 🚨

You do NOT need 47 gut tests, 12 blood panels, a stool test, a hair follicle analysis and your firstborn child’s DNA just to figure out why you don’t feel good.

Are those tools useful? YES. There is absolutely a time and place for testing.

But here’s the part nobody wants to hear:

You can test the s**t out of your body all day long… but if you keep putting the same s**t into it, what exactly are we expecting to change?

You cannot out-test a poor diet.

At some point, you have to stop collecting data and change the inputs.

Because no test result is going to make you eat differently.

And THAT is where the real work starts. 🌶️

Pregnancy weight gain is such a loaded topic.

Women are often given a number to stay within, but not enough education around WHY their bodies are gaining that weight in the first place.

Your body isn’t simply accumulating pounds during pregnancy. It’s increasing blood volume, building placental tissue, growing the uterus and breasts, increasing fluid, supporting your baby’s growth, and storing energy for what comes next.

And yes—weight gain outside of expected ranges can sometimes be associated with increased risks. But a scale number by itself cannot tell you whether you’re nourishing yourself well or whether your pregnancy is healthy.

There is nuance here.

Your pre-pregnancy BMI, rate of gain, nutrition, overall health, baby’s growth, symptoms, labs, and your individual circumstances all matter.

So instead of asking, “How do I make sure I don’t gain too much?”

A better question is:

“How can I best nourish and support my body and baby throughout this pregnancy?”

That is a very different conversation.

Educational information only and not a substitute for individualized prenatal care.

Solo parenting three little ones while pregnant with twins isn’t exactly the easiest season we have experienced so far but it’s been the sweetest.

I’ve learned that regulation isn’t about making life perfectly calm—it’s about being intentional about how I support myself when life is FULL.

These are the little things that helped me stay grounded, fueled, and (mostly 😅) regulated through the week.

Mom rage isn’t always about needing to “be more patient.”

Sometimes your body is asking for SUPPORT.

Blood sugar crashes.
Not properly fueling your body.
Poor gut health.
Living inside + disconnected from natural light.
A nervous system that’s constantly ON.
Doing everything for everyone.
Lack of boundaries.
Unspoken expectations that eventually turn into resentment.

All of these little things can stack up until something completely insignificant becomes the final freaking straw.

Supporting your body + nervous system doesn’t mean you’ll never get angry or overstimulated.

It means you’re not constantly living one tiny inconvenience away from losing your s**t.

This is the kind of whole-body work we focus on inside LOOM.

You do NOT have to wait until you’re done breastfeeding to start supporting your body.

Protein. Nutrient-dense foods. Minerals. Hydration. Blood sugar. Gut health. Nervous system regulation. Gentle movement. And enough FOOD.

For some women, properly fueling themselves can even support a healthier milk supply—especially if they were previously under-eating or skipping meals.

Motherhood doesn’t require putting yourself on the back burner.

We just meet your body where it is. 🤎

DM me “LOOM” if you’re breastfeeding and have been wondering if you can start.

THIS. This is why I created Loom.

Yes, she lost nearly 30 pounds.
Yes, she lost inches.
Yes, she’s wearing clothes she hasn’t worn since before having her daughter 7 years ago.

But read her words again, because the weight loss isn’t even my favorite part.

Less food noise.
Less obsessing over what she’s going to eat next.
More energy.
Better skin + gut health.
More confidence.
A completely different relationship with food.
And maybe most importantly… she trusts herself again.

She started Loom skeptical. She had already tried the diets, workouts, supplements, practitioners + rabbit holes trying to figure out what she was missing.

12 weeks later, she said:

“This isn’t the end — it’s a lifestyle. I am never going back.”

THAT is the goal.

I don’t want you white-knuckling your way through 12 weeks just to lose weight and then wondering what the hell you’re supposed to do when it’s over.

I want to teach you how to fuel your body, understand it, work WITH it, and build habits that actually fit into your real life.

This is what sustainability looks like.

And watching women realize they’re capable of keeping promises to themselves will forever be one of my favorite parts of this work.

So damn proud of her. 🤎

If you’ve been watching Loom thinking, I don’t know if I could actually do this…

She wondered the exact same thing.

And look at her now. 👏🏻
