I couldn’t help but think that maybes that’s why so many of us struggle with our hormones.
We’re exposed to SO many chemicals every single day through the products we use on our bodies from makeup, shampoo, lotions, perfume, feminine care products, cleaning products, and more.
And what really gets me is that these chemicals interfere with our hormones.
Our hormones control SO much of what happens in our bodies, and yet we’re constantly surrounding ourselves with ingredients that act as endocrine disruptors.
And the crazy part? A lot of us grew up assuming that if something is sitting on a store shelf, it must have already been proven safe.
That realization completely changed the way I look at the products in my home.
I know that it’s impossible to create a perfectly “clean” life but controlling what’s in my power to control is absolutely possible.
I think it’s worth asking:
If I can reduce my everyday exposure to hormone-disrupting chemicals, why wouldn’t I? 🌱
I’ve slowly started making swaps where I can and choosing products that make me feel better about what I’m bringing into my home.
Because this isn’t about fear.
It’s about being informed.
It’s about being intentional.
And it’s about realizing that the little things we do every day can add up. 🤍
