Angel of Hope-Washington, MO We will be having numerous fundraisers during this fall. The angel's face is that of a child, it's arms raised, as a child waiting to be lifted.

The Angel of Hope Washington, Mo area was started in June 2012 and she was ordered from the foundry on July 26, 2012....in order to complete the garden and the angel's base we need to raise $40,000. In its wing is inscribed the word HOPE. The Angel of Hope, an exact replica of the Christmas Box Angel statue located in Salt Lake City, Utah, stands as a symbol of hope for all parents who have experi

enced the death of a child. To honor our children's memories, memorial bricks are being placed around the base of the Angel of Hope statue with separate walkways extending in various directions from the base of the statue. The statue and surrounding area is intended to be a place of peace and healing for all bereaved parents

The first fundraiser will be the "Absent Angel Ball", invitations are being mailed the week of August 27 and this is a non-event soliciting contributions....and if someone would want to make a donation please make your check payable to C.O.W. Angel of Hope, at 435 Jefferson Washington, Mo. 63090. Contributions are tax-deductible. Additional fundraisers will continue.

Don't forget about the Angel of Hope vigil tomorrow night, December 6, at 7pm, at the garden. 2023 bricks will be dedicated. White flowers and candles will be given out as well. Rain or shine.

This will enable us to have your brick engraved and ready for installation and dedication on December 6, 2023 at the Angel of Hope annual ceremony at 7pm. The Parks & Recreation Department is located at City Hall - 405 Jefferson Street. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm. For more information call 636-390-1080.

This will enable us to have your brick engraved and ready for installation and dedication on DECEMBER 6, 2020 at the Angel of Hope annual ceremony at 7pm.
Please know that the Parks office has moved to the lower level of City Hall in Washington, MO.
