we like spring around here

we may not have an oven yet,
there are walls that still need to be painted
and drywall that needs patching
lots of work to be done before this can be
what we want it to be
but there is no denying the magic of
cooking in this disheveled kitchen
and serving a meal to a lifelong friend
as we gaze at the mountains,
sun streaming in
and though it’s not quite what I thought
it would be
I can find respite here
and I hope you will too

Pies + Petals is where it all began... we're excited to bring all that we've learned from that adventure to this one!

Hello lovely people! It's been quite some time... checking in to ask that you follow along our newest endeavor Respite Bakery & Studios! We are converting a home / medical office into a bakery, music, & trauma sensitive yoga studio! Excited to share that all of your Pies + Petals favorites will be making a comeback. I can't wait to get baking for you all again! We hope to be open sometime this spring and would love to share the journey with you all.
