With a Heavy Heart
There are moments along every path when we are asked to recognize that it is time to set something down.
With a heavy heart, I have made the decision to close Soul Honor Sanctuary.
The Sanctuary was created from a deeply held belief that people deserve places where they can arrive exactly as they are—to learn, reflect, rest, grow, and perhaps find a little light when the path feels difficult.
Every course, reflection, lantern, garden path, gathering, page, and quiet corner was created with that intention.
I believed in this work.
I still do.
But sometimes believing deeply in something is not enough to sustain it.
The financial and personal resources required to continue Soul Honor Sanctuary have become more than I can reasonably carry. Without the students, guests, and sales needed to support its continued operation, keeping the doors open is no longer sustainable.
That is a difficult truth to write.
There is grief in closing something into which I poured so much thought, hope, work, and heart.
But there is gratitude here, too.
I am grateful for everything this Sanctuary taught me.
I am grateful for every page written, every idea explored, every garden tended, and every lantern lit.
And I remain grateful for anyone who stopped here—even quietly—and found something that helped them breathe, reflect, remember, or begin again.
The doors may be closing, but I do not believe everything created here disappears with them.
Some things become part of us.
The Sanctuary has become part of me.
And perhaps that is where it was always meant to remain.
Thank you for walking through these doors.
Thank you for sitting at the table.
Thank you for allowing Soul Honor Sanctuary, however briefly, to have a place in the world.
May you continue to follow the path that calls to you.
May you remember to rest when the journey becomes heavy.
May you always know that your light belongs to you.
And wherever your path leads next,

Over the past seasons, I have been quietly building Soul Honor Sanctuary — a space for reflection, grounding, emotional resilience, nervous system support, compassionate learning, and gentle becoming.

This is not a place built on urgency.
It is a place built on presence.
