😳BEFORE working on our calm and other behaviors.

‼️‼️This was Capone’s daily baseline including excessive barking at any movement or noise and spinning after about 2 years of waiting for a home in a shelter and good rescue.

😔Confinement, change and social deprivation (even in the best run rescues) can take its toll.

We are STILL working but lots of progress.

THREE YEARS IS FAR TOO LONG.

Junior has been waiting for a home for 3 years. 😔

Three years of watching people come and go. Three years of hoping that maybe today would be the day someone finally chose him.

Junior originally came to the shelter as a stray, but we were able to locate his owner and learn a little more about this handsome guy. What Junior truly needs now is a home willing to cater to him, understand him, and give him the life he deserves.

He can be a little leery of new people at first—but don’t worry… treats are the way straight to Junior’s heart! Once he realizes you come bearing snacks, you’re already making progress!

Junior has dealt with some on-and-off ear issues, which will require a family willing to stay on top of his care and make sure he is comfortable.

We recently tested Junior with a cat, and honestly… he could not have cared less! 😂 As long as there was food around, the cat barely existed in his world!

Junior has waited long enough. He deserves more than a shelter kennel. He deserves a couch, a family, treats, and someone who will finally say:

“Junior, you’re home.”
