If you've got a minute and care about your health, check out Dragon Gate

Here's my take on how this applies to your health, using protein as an example.

Fact: a statement made by someone of authority.
"Experts say you need to eat 50g of protein per day."

Opinion: a statement made out of personal experience.
" I find that I feel best when I eat at least 150g of protein per day."

Truth: Something that can only be found individually by applying knowledge over time.
In other words, a synthesis of facts, opinions, and your own experience in applying these things.

Moral of the story: no one can offer you truth when it comes to your own journey. We can present facts and opinions but ultimately it is up to you.

Pain doesn't always mean surgery is your only option.

Many aches and movement-related pains are the result of muscles and joints not working together the way they should.

Corrective exercise is a drug-free, non-surgical approach that helps improve the way your body moves by identifying weak links, improving mobility, and building strength where it's needed most.

Whether your goal is to walk without discomfort, get back to the gym, enjoy a round of golf, or simply move through your day with more confidence, there may be another path worth exploring.

If you've been told to "just live with it," or to avoid movements you love, maybe it's time for a second opinion.

Send me a message to schedule a movement assessment and let's find out what's really holding you back.

Have you been thinking about getting back into exercise, but keep putting it off?

You're not alone.

Over the years, I've met countless people who wanted to start but felt intimidated by the gym, worried they were too out of shape, or believed they'd have to push themselves to the point of exhaustion just to see results.
The truth is, none of that has to be true.

I believe exercise should leave you feeling stronger, more confident, and looking forward to coming back—not defeated.

When you train with me, I meet you exactly where you are. Whether it's your first workout in years, you're recovering from an injury, or you've simply never felt comfortable in a gym, I'll build a program around your current abilities and help you progress at a pace that feels right for you.

Send me a message, and let's talk about your goals. I'd love to help you discover that exercise can actually become one of the best parts of your week.

Training hard doesn’t always mean your body is performing at its best.
Most athletes focus on:
✅ Getting stronger
✅ Getting faster
✅ Improving their skills

But there is another piece many athletes overlook:
How well does your body actually move?
Small limitations in movement can affect performance:
❌ Tight hips limiting speed and power
❌ Poor mobility affecting your mechanics
❌ Weak stabilizers reducing control
❌ Poor movement patterns creating extra stress on your body

Corrective exercise helps build the foundation underneath your athletic performance.
Because a stronger athlete is only as strong as the body that can support that strength.

I've worked with multiple high school athletes and to be honest I'm still surprised at the potential that gets unlocked with corrective exercise. If you'd like to see what it can do for you, reach out.

I can tell you firsthand that strength doesn't deteriorate with age, despite how common it is to blame weakness on "getting older". I have seen people 50, 60 and 70 get stronger. Some of who are now the strongest they've been in their lives.

Strength doesn't just go away on its own. You don't wake up one day, all of a sudden weaker than the day before. Instead, small decisions happen. Small decisions that lead to you losing strength, mobility, and confidence in your movement.

Not able to carry in groceries.
Losing confidence in your ability to go out for the day with friends, for fear of not being able to keep up.
Pushing off the things you love to do because of chronic pain or weakness.

If you're noticing some of these signs of "aging", you can regain your control.

Strength training is an essential part of aging well. If you don't know where to start I would love to talk with you.

Over the past 8 years as a trainer, I've had the opportunity to work with clients at all different ages, with many different restrictions and limitations, and all kinds of goals.

Here are a few things I've learned.

1. It is never too late to start. Whether 15 or 75, I have personally seen everyone within this range get stronger on 1-2 days per week of strength training.

2. There is a difference between medical pain and movement pain. Medical pain is treated with drugs or surgery. Movement pain is created by some kind of faulty movement pattern, and typically gets better as you get stronger.

3. The experience does not need to be miserable. After our first session most clients are surprised that the process is actually easier than they were expecting.

You don't need to be perfect before you begin, you just need some support in getting started.

As of right now I have room to take on 2 more clients. Call or message me if you're ready to get stronger, move better, and feel more confident in your body.

In my time as a trainer and corrective exercise specialist I've found that most pain can be improved with movement and strength training with very few exceptions.

If you're dealing with this send me a message or comment on this post. I'd love to help.
