Some emotions feel like they could overwhelm us, like lonliness, worry/fear, hurt, and anger. When we can sit with it, feel it in our bodies, meet it and hold how big it is with love, compassion and understanding for why it is there, we begin to create the capacity and space to hold it without being overwhelmed by it.
