In January of this year, I lost a very dear friend - a very special woman who was a dear friend to many. She was the type of friend I could sit and talk to for hours, and never run out of things to discuss, and even when life got busy and we would go long periods of time without seeing one another, when we did have time to talk, it was just like old times.
Rhonda and I shared a love for many things, including our families, the Lord, and natural wellness. She and her husband loved my kids and showed them so much kindness through the years, which meant a lot to me. One of the things we enjoyed spending the most time discussing was herbs and natural wellness. We shared tips, recipes, new ideas, old ideas, and our latest research. When one of us, or a family member, was sick, we would call each other for advice and to see what we might be forgetting, because when illness hits close to home you need someone outside the emotions of the situation to help you see it clearly and to remember all of the information that can become a bit muddled during times of stress. We were always there for each other, and always loved and respected each other. I miss her a lot.
My Comfort Body Butter is a blend that was created for Rhonda and her family when they were going through a particularly hard time. She called me up and told me that they needed something to help with their grief - something to calm their minds and help them to be able to get some sleep and rest. I worked on a recipe for her, and she loved it, but called me with another request. Could I make it just the way I had, only add a little something to help with aches and discomfort. And after all of our discussions back and forth, Comfort Body Butter was the final result. At first I only made it for Rhonda and her family. Then for a while I made it for the customers who shopped for my products at local stores or on Etsy. I eventually retired this product. But a few months ago, when Rhonda was on my heart, I decided to bring it back, at least for a time, in her honor and memory. Because this always makes me think of her and our shared love for all things herbal, natural, and holistic.
For a limited time you can purchase this cream at The Junktion, The Kraze, and The Market at 76067. And if you loved Rhonda too, maybe this cream will make you think of her. And if you didn't know Rhonda, just know that this body butter was made with love for a special friend. And I hope that it will also bring you comfort for you mind, soul, and body.
Be blessed, and be sure to cherish those you love. Life is short, and the people God brings into our lives are what matters the most in this life, aside from our love for the Lord.
