Allergies
This year allergies and allergic reactions have been on the rise. So what can we do for our horses and other livestock, cover them head to toe in fly spray? Fly sheets? Keep them stalled? The best thing you can do is find the source of the allergy therefore you can properly know how to resolve it. This horse had an unpleasant reaction to medication, which does happen. After cryotherapy she was k t taped to help the body slowly drain the trapped fluid under the muscle. After 2 weeks the reaction was gone and only a small lump of scar tissue remained. Preventing reactions is always best but when they do happen knowing the best way to get your horse support through them helps them not be so severe. Here at Equestrian Recovery we put your horse’s health and wellbeing first.
